Having been born, raised and currently residing in Chicago from the surrounding 'burbs, I've always done my best to immerse myself in everything the city has to offer. The endless diversity of art, music, food, landscape, culture, and most importantly, the people has always had a place in my heart. As much as I love Chicago, there is nothing better than traveling to new and different places. Whether it's the laid-back lifestyle of Oregon, the ever-going party that is Las Vegas, soaking in the sun off a Floridian beach, or embracing the blue collar/ Midwest lifestyle of Kansas City, my inspiration and creativity feeds off the energy of the surroundings. The individual does not influence the environment; the environment influences the individual.

Through my life experiences, I have become very outgoing, embracing all that life brings my way. I project a fairly laid back and easy-to-talk-to demeanor that can often result in my becoming the life of the party. I highly value my friends and family who keep the ground planted below these constantly moving feet.

My photography experience stretches all the way back to my high school 35mm black & white classes. My interest has maintained through the years, but I never fully explored my creative edge until we reached this digital age of technology. The first successful dabble in the digital sphere was with low end point and shoots that achieved exciting results. This only inspired me to continue my pursuit of perfection, progressively purchasing better equipment. Then, 4 years ago, I entered the realm of Digital SLR photography. Clearly, photography had begun to be quite a hobby of mine, giving two close friends the idea that I should shoot their wedding. I did their wedding for free in a laid-back manner, being my first time, but we were all pleasantly surprised with the results. Two more friends, impressed by my work, had me photograph their wedding months later. From there, the referrals kept coming and have not stopped. I had no choice but to pursue the dream of being my own boss, combined with my love of taking pictures and enter into wedding photography.

Even as I continue learning and mastering the craft of photography, I feel my personality is what makes my working of the wedding experience so enjoyable for all. When behind the camera, I am relaxed, funny, and easy-going, allowing the shutter to flutter for those enjoying themselves in front of my lens. Making people smile and enjoy themselves is all part of who I am, whether I have a camera strapped to me or not. Being young and versatile, I have no problem running up a flight of stairs, hitting the floor, or leaning way out on a balcony at a moments notice in order to capture that perfect memory.
